 Aunties Anniversary

‘‘ FISHING time!’’ I yelled.

Preparing the rods.  Putting on the bait. And Casting my line, and brothers and Sis doing their rods up. Then SPLASH! Fish splashed through the water. It was a lovely Thursday afternoon ready to go to Rotorua for my aunties' Anniversary.

Waiting for the first bite on the bait.

First I had breakfast, I had Nutri-grain, eggs on toast and baked beans. It was DELICIOUS. Then we left to refill the car, so we started the journey to Rotorua. Me, Lance, Nan, Koro, Savanah, Hamuera and Gibbon had heaps of fun on the way down. I got tired on the way down so I went to sleep because it was 7:00 in the morning. Then we arrived in Rotorua, “What a Journey’’, I said in a tired voice

We unpacked the car, my Nan was in charge of the food and drinks, so Me and my siblings wandered off to explore and we found a nice river and went for a swim for about an hour. I saw an eel and I dived down and followed the eel and grabbed it for lunch. But my Nan said that I had to skin and slime the eel myself self but I was fine with it because I was hungry for eel.

At lunch, I went straight for the eel and told everyone else to leave my eel alone. The next day my uncle Anthony brought his boat so we can go fishing and MAN I was stoked to go fish and eating the fish as soon as we’ve caught the fish. We caught some Snapper, yellowfin kingfish. Then we went diving I grabbed some kina, oysters, and paua.

For dinner we had the fish and shellfish we caught, ‘’IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!” I yelled.

The Next Day it was the anniversary I was wearing my tuxedo, but i just couldn’t wait for the cake and food. When it was time Lance was yapping away so I told him to shut up. All the food and cake was SOOO YUM i went to Hamuera and threw the cake at him and laughed. I WAS THE BEST.
